📋 Windows Installation Instructions

Download & Run: Click the "Download for Windows" button above and run the installer.

Security Warning: Windows may show a warning. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" - this is normal for downloaded software.

Accept Settings: RustDesk will open automatically configured to connect to our support server.

Share Your ID: You'll see a number (Your ID) in the RustDesk window. Share this number with our support team via phone, WhatsApp, or email.

Accept Connection: When our technician connects, click "Accept" to allow remote support.
📱 Android Installation Instructions

Download APK: Click the "Download for Android" button above.

Enable Installation: Android may ask you to allow installation from unknown sources. Enable this temporarily.

Install & Open: Install the app and open RustDesk.

Configure Server: Tap the three dots (⋮) menu → "Settings" → "ID/Relay Server" and enter:
- ID Server: remote.faq.co.za
- Relay Server: remote.faq.co.za
- Key: LHsUJi0vm7BzM+h9Jh8gGXLirMKxA8RGCsgBEZPU5hI=

Share Your ID: Share your ID number with our support team.
⚠️ Important: Keep the RustDesk window open while waiting for support. Our technician will need the ID number you see in the app to connect to your device.
🔒 Privacy & Security: Your connection is secure and encrypted. Our support staff can only connect when you accept the connection request. You can disconnect at any time by closing RustDesk.
Advanced: Auto-Configuration File
For IT administrators: Download the RustDesk2.toml configuration file and place it in the RustDesk config directory before first launch to auto-configure server settings.
